Lazy River Products is in search of a Director of Marketing for its Admin Team here at our Dracut Headquarters!!

Job Details:

$90,000+   Salaried pay basis

**This position is not Remote**  Work Schedule requires 100% on-site participation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving and directing Lazy River Products’ strategic marketing initiatives, policies, and programs; such as creating solution and company awareness, determining the demand for products and services offered, and identify potential customer and market segments. The Director of Marketing will also prepare competitive intelligence and collect market research/customer feedback to ensure that Lazy River Products is always developing new and innovative products and bringing them to market.  This position has a high focus on delivering solutions with the goal of maximizing the company’s revenue and profit while ensuring customer and market mindshare by utilizing all effective means of promotional and advertising tools. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of proven experience of director-level marketing and long-range planning required.

  • Previous cannabis industry experience with technical aptitude is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, or other design/content related software.
  • Proficient with video, video editing and related software.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Directs effective advertising strategies based on market research; knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Direct and develop content to be used for all marketing initiatives.
  • Formulate and direct marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, including product launch campaigns, working with advertising or promotion team members.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Compile lists describing competitive product or service offerings.
  • Consult with product development personnel on product specifications, such as design, color, or packaging.
  • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Agent and Sales Wholesale Account Manager to collect data regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
  • Assist in developing Market Research Documents (MRD) to define product demands and product development justification.

Physical Requirement/Work Environment -

  • Office Work environment - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
